Business is not just about making profits. For Visa Europe, it is about creating the right conditions for individuals to achieve their potential and their dreams. To this end, we have a strong culture of charitable giving and volunteering and are determined to make a positive contribution within our local communities over and above the impact of our business operations. The direct links we enjoy with communities in Westminster through the Partnership help us do just that.

M&S is committed to playing a leading role as a responsible business via its Plan A programme. From its work on global sustainability issues such as deforestation, overfishing and climate change; to national programmes such as Marks and Start helping 800 people facing significant barriers to employment via work placements in our stores; to supporting local charities through our 700+ store and office locations. PWP provides a fantastic programme which has continued to allow us to do even more via our Head Office, helping our neighbours and enabling our colleagues to be a big part of the picture, whether this be through volunteering, fundraising or donations.
Mike Barry, Head of Sustainable Business at M&S

As one of the longest-standing members of the Partnership, we have benefited immensely over the years, having really established ourselves as partners, volunteers, contributors and life-changers in the local community. Prudential has a strong approach and respect for CSR at a global level; we are able to do even more at a local level helping our neighbours and enabling our colleagues to be a big part of the picture.

We are delighted to be working with Paddington Waterside Partnership; also that a number of our colleagues here in Sheldon Square have actively participated in programmes, brokered through these exceptional organisations. At Kingfisher, community is one of four key priorities across the group, as part of our 2020 sustainability strategy. Our aim is to have a positive effect on all the communities we impact and the partnership with PWP demonstrates how, through our people, we can all get involved and start to make a real difference to all the communities in which we operate and share.

The scheme is motivational and enriching for our employees and is an opportunity to give something back to the community in which we work.
